We are officially releasing my book, The Theology of Wine, this Saturday evening. We are holding the party at Remy Wines which is located at 905 NE 10th St (just down the street from the old Cook Elementary School) from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM..
I'm so happy to hold the party at Remy's. She is a force of nature, making some outstanding wines in an industrial building right next to the train tracks. Remy has such a wonderful gift of hospitality. She also wields a mean fork lift! (That's her behind the wheel in the photo below.) This tasting room serves double and triple duty. It's used as a holding area to keep fruit out of the sun while it is waiting to be processed. It holds unsold cases of wine which are stacked up on one end of the building. It's also an art gallery which right now features some of my friends, Luke Zimmerman's work which is a wonderful piece of serendipity.
